Jorene was born and raised in Pretoria, South Africa and moved to New Zealand in September 2019. She joined the O’Halloran family in October 2021 after getting to know the NZ market from a boutique CA firm based on the Shore.
CA qualified and mid-tier trained, having started her career in SA, Jorene brings 10+ years’ experience in professional services. Jorene specialises in compliance areas, such as GST returns, tax returns and financial statements.
Jorene also has experience in consulting and business advisory services, which includes valuations, liquidations and performing cash flow projections for a wide range of small to medium sized businesses in a variety of different industries.
Jorene is passionate about creating innovative solutions that deliver real value for each of her client’s unique needs. Jorene’s calm and reliable approach allows her to work well in high pressured environments, using perspective to make the best decisions.
Outside of work, Jorene is kept busy by her two children, Sebastian and Katrien and husband, Stephen. They enjoy time as a family exploring locally and generally spending time outside and on the beach. She is also a keen baker and enjoys a good book.
